Contrast Architects was founded in 2017 by Mark and Lee-Anne, a husband and wife team. Having worked for some of South Africa’s most prestigious architecture firms, we bring over 20 years of experience to every project.

Philosophy
Deep rooted in our design philosophy is to alway provide a spatial experience that will enrich the everyday life of those who inhabit the space- to provide an architecture that adapts to its use and surroundings. We strive to create simplicity in our designs, through a series of design processes that culminate in an element of beauty within a landscape. Our intention here is to produce simple, intelligent architecture where the threshold of inside and outside space becomes blurred.
We pride ourselves on our close engagement with our clients to ensure that each client’s very unique criteria results in design excellence through harmoniously fusing: quality, innovation, functionality and elegance.
